Welcome to Travla! By accessing or using our website, mobile application, and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our platform. Travla is a product of SAVA Studio, a division of SAVA Global. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Our Services

Travla is a travel planning and booking platform that helps young Africans plan and experience seamless trips. Our services include:

  • Trip Planning: Personalised itinerary planning based on your dates, budget, and preferences.

  • Bookings: Flights, accommodation, and experience bookings made on your behalf.

  • E-Visa Assistance: Support with visa applications for your destination.

  • Logistics: Airport transfers and local transportation coordination.

  • Support: On-trip assistance for the duration of your stay.

2. AI Trip Planning Assistant

Travla uses an AI-powered trip planning assistant to help you explore options, plan your trip, and initiate the booking process. By interacting with our AI assistant, you agree that:

  • Conversations with the AI assistant are used to understand your travel preferences and generate personalised trip recommendations.

  • The AI assistant does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by Travla.

  • While we strive for accuracy, recommendations made by the AI assistant are subject to availability and pricing changes at the time of actual booking.

  • Travla is not liable for any decisions made based solely on information provided by the AI assistant without subsequent human confirmation.

  • Conversation data may be stored and used to improve our services in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you are booking on behalf of a group, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of all travelers in the group.

4. Bookings and Payments

  • Trip Confirmation: Your booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and you have received a written confirmation from Travla.

  • Pricing: All prices are quoted in the currency specified at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change until payment is completed.

  • Payment: Full payment is required to confirm your trip. We accept payment methods as specified during the booking process.

  • Third-Party Costs: Certain costs — including flights, accommodation, and experiences — are subject to third-party pricing and availability at the time of booking

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation by You: If you cancel your trip, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Refunds are subject to the cancellation policies of third-party providers including airlines, hotels, and experience operators. Travla's service fee is non-refundable.

  • Cancellation by Travla: In the unlikely event that Travla is unable to fulfil your booking, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund of all amounts paid directly to Travla.

  • Non-Refundable Items: Visa application fees, insurance premiums, and any third-party costs already incurred at the time of cancellation are non-refundable.

6. Changes to Bookings

Requests to change travel dates, accommodation, or experiences after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. Travla will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee them.

7. Travel Documents and Visas

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of your data.

8. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before departure, covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and personal liability. Travla does not provide travel insurance and is not liable for any costs that would otherwise be covered by insurance.

9. Travla's Liability

  • Travla acts as an intermediary between you and third-party service providers including airlines, hotels, and experience operators. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or defaults of these third parties.

  • Travla is not liable for any losses, delays, damages, or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, strikes, or government actions.

  • Our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Travla for that booking.

10. Your Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking.

  • Behave in a manner that does not disrupt the experience of other travelers or bring Travla into disrepute.

  • Comply with the laws, customs, and regulations of South Africa and any other destination you visit.

  • Take responsibility for your personal belongings and safety during your trip.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Travla website and application — including text, images, logos, and designs — is the property of SAVA Global. and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.

12. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated terms will be posted on this page with the date of the last revision. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdictions in which SAVA Global Inc. operates, including Nigeria and other African markets. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in good faith between both parties.
